Mit dem Malen begann ich im Alter von 20 Jahren, indem ich ein Laken über einen selbstgebauten Rahmen spannte und Hausfarbe aus dem Vorrat in der Garage nahm.
Seitdem habe ich nicht aufgehört zu malen, so a Bedürfnis, das entstand; Bedarf an Materialien, Mischen und Farben, Kontakt der Pinsel auf der Leinwand.
Ich bin Autodidakt, auch wenn ich nach 20 Jahren schließlich drei Jahre lang einen Malworkshop an der Beaux Arts in Grenoble besucht habe für persönliche Arbeiten und einen G.R.A.A.L.-Preis, den ich während meiner Teilnahme an einem Wettbewerb für junge Künstler im Jahr 1993 erhielt.

Es ist das Ergebnis dessen, was unbewusst gereift ist und schließlich nach und nach Gestalt annimmt. Ich habe einfach ein Verlangen nach Farben und Formen, ich bringe eine Emotion, eine Energie auf die Leinwand.
Am liebsten verwende ich Acryl, vor allem wegen der Trocknungszeiten. Meine Art zu malen erfordert ein schnelles Trocknen, da es oft ein Auftrag in einem Durchgang ohne Retusche ist.
Seit 6 Jahren orientiere ich meine Arbeit an Collagen, auch gut auf Leinwand, Sperrholz oder Papier. Die Arbeitsmethodik ist etwas anders, da ich von einem Ausschnitt, also einem vorhandenen visuellen Fragment, aus gehe, um einen mehr oder weniger homogenen oder unstrukturierten Inhalt zu konstruieren, eine oft traumhafte Parallelwelt, die sich manchmal den Gesetzen der irdischen Anziehung widersetzt oder darauf hinweist die Widersprüche der heutigen Gesellschaft.
