Herzlich willkommen bei "Ty ar Yvon bihan"
"Das Haus des kleinen Yves"
Geboren im Norden Frankreichs im Jahre 1950, in einer Epoche, als " Künstler " noch Synonym von " Taugenichts " war, wurde ich erst einmal Buchhalter, das ist seriöser. Misserfolge sorgten dafür, dass ich als Autodidakt, meine Techniken verbesserte.
Ich reproduziere nicht was ich sehe, sondern was ich fühle oder mir vorstelle. Jedes Bild muss sich erst in meinem Imaginären befinden, bevor es gemalt ist. Was ich male ist realistisch, vermischt sich jedoch mit verschiedenen Situationen und Kontexten.
Mit der Bretagne, ihrer Geschichte und ihren kunstgeschichtlichen Stätten, ihrer Landschaft und Musik aufs Tiefste verbunden, wurde diese eine der Quellen meiner Inspiration, sicher aufgrund ihrer rauhen Seite machtvoll und einem Hauch von Mythologie die es erlaubt, diese Züge in meiner Malerei hervorzuheben.
Malerei lässt sich nicht erklären, Man kann sie nachvollziehen oder nicht, man mag sie oder nicht. Yves Sauvage alias Youn bihan.
