Der multidisziplinäre Künstler BENT wurde 1975 im Südwesten von Montreal geboren. Als Autodidakt sind seine Einflüsse so breit wie eine Palette mit jeweils 1000 Farben. Von Pollock nach Basquiat, über Asger Jorn, Jacqueline de Jong, Jeppesen Victor-Martin oder sogar Gil Joseph Wolman, versucht der falsche Maler, visuelle Reflexionen aus dem Wunsch heraus zu entwickeln, das Leben auf den Kopf zu stellen. Seit 2004 hat er etwas mehr als zehn Einzelausstellungen zu seinem Verdienst gehabt. Er nahm auch an 7 Gemeinschaftsausstellungen teil.
Er rennt träge seinen Pinseln hinterher, die er von Montreal nach Zürich und unter dem feinen, nebligen Regen von Kopenhagen sowie unter der Temperatur Islands, die so wechselhaft ist wie seine Stimmung, schleppt.
