Über den Autor
Après une formation initiale dans une école d'arts appliqués et un apprentissage de la sculpture dans un atelier spécialisé dans le buste,(portrait d'après photo), je m'embarque en 1992 sur le bateau Sculpture et je mets les voiles.
Depuis 26 ans, mon atelier navigue dans les Pyrénées, l'Hérault, l'Aude, l'Ariège et aujourd'hui en gironde au bord de l'océan atlantique, pour décliner des créations poétiques et surréalistes dans le bois, ma matière chérie et tant aimée.
Je participe à des expositions collectives et individuelles tout en proposant en permanence une exposition personnelle au sein de mon atelier.
Dans une expression poétique et surréaliste, je sculpte pour réinventer ce monde, le rendre plus doux, plus coloré.
Je réalise mes sculptures à partir d'un projet dessin suite à un rêve, une idée, une vibration, tout en menant plusieurs sujets de front, qui, mûrissent chacun à leur rythme dans le temps.
Et puis, il y a ce geste que j'aime, cette sensation de faire corps avec le bois et de le faire parler du bout de mes gouges et ciseaux.
Chaque sculpture me procure à sa naissance une émotion qui m'invite très vite à remettre sur l'établis la création suivante, à vivre et à aimer.
