Daniel Moline ist ein zeitgenössischer belgischer Maler. Moline ist ein Maler großer Kompositionen, mit imposanten Figuren in einem stark grafischen Stil, aus denen Energie, Vitalität und eine gewisse Gewalt hervorgehen. Als Ausdruck von Zärtlichkeit und Grausamkeit wird ihre Gewalt immer von einer diskreten Zärtlichkeit und Wohlwollen als Zurückhaltung gegenüber dem Leben begleitet. Es gibt Gemeinsamkeiten mit der Kalligrafie von Zen-Mönchen und dem Werk des japanischen Malers Shôhaku.
Seit 1990 arbeitet er an großen abstrakten Kompositionen in schwarzer Tusche auf weißem Grund, „Gutta“, Fleckensets und diversen Spuren, aus denen der Betrachter die Bedeutung konstruieren wird, die ihm passt oder ihm gefällt. Derzeit (seit 2010) arbeitet er an großen Porträts in Bernstein auf schwarzem Hintergrund, verzweifelten Erinnerungen an Japan oder dunklen Kreaturen, denen er nach seiner Rückkehr nach Belgien begegnet ist.
Daniel Moline wurde 1948 in Belgien geboren. Er nahm an verschiedenen Ausstellungen im Inland und in Japan teil, wo er sechzehn Jahre verbrachte.
