David Nicolas (Daru)

Daru is a contemporary French painter and street artist. Starting with caricatures, he transitioned to comics and eventually found his passion in creating Street Art murals. Presently, he derives great satisfaction from parodying the cartoons that shaped his childhood, employing an original and humorous approach across various mediums. He expresses his creativity on a diverse range of mediums, including wooden slats and letterboxes, among others. The artist embraces a free-spirited approach, allowing his mood and desires to guide his paintings. His repertoire features iconic characters sourced from beloved cartoons, games, and manga.
