Darko Kotevski, rođen je na Visu polovicom XX stoljeća, gdje je proveo svojih prvih i najljepših 7 godina života. Zatim živi u Bjelovaru, gdje pohađa pućku školu i gimnaziju, te Zagrebu, gdje završava Fakultet za defektologiju - smjer logopedije. Godine 1988., zajedno sa suprugom i dva sina iseljava u Australiju (Melbourne), gdje živi i danas. U Australiji radi kao logoped (Speech Pathologist) sve do 2004. god. kada zbog bolesti odlazi u mirovinu.
Od samog dolaska u Australiju aktivno je uključen u rad Hrvatske zajednice i to na nekoliko područja, između kojih su najznačajnija: zamjenik ravnatelja, producent, voditelj, tehnički operator u Hrvatskom radio programu pri Radio postaji 3ZZZ (više od 15 godina rada), rad u Hrvatskom svjetskom kongresu Australije (na dužnosti koordinatora za kulturu i šport za Australiju i Novi Zeland), voditelj dramske grupe u Hrvatsko kulturno literarnom društvu "August Šenoa" (1994.-1995.), osnivač i ravnatelj Hrvatskog Narodnog Kazališta Melbourne (1995. – 2005.), producent, voditelj, tehnički operator u Hrvatskom programu na državnoj Radio postaji SBS (2006. – 2011.).

Darko Kotevski was born In Vis, Croatia in the middle of the 20th century (where he spent his first and most beautiful 7 years of his life), then he lives in Bjelovar (where he finishes his Primary school and his High school/Gimnazija) and Zagreb (where he graduates on The Zagreb University, Faculty of Speech Pathology). After years of working as a Speech pathologist in Zagreb, in 1988 he migrates to Australia (Melbourne) with his wife and two young sons, where he still resides. In Australia, he works as a Speech Pathologist until mid 2004 when he retires due to a sickness.
During those years of living and working in Australia, Darko was from his arrival in this country actively involved in many activities of the Croatian - Australian Community especially in several areas, like: deputy convenor, producer, broadcaster, tech operator of the Croatian Radio Program at Community Radio Station 3ZZZ (more than 15 years), involvement in the Australian Croatian World Congress (role of the Coordinator for culture and sport for Australia and New Zealand 1997-2000), Founder and the President of The Croatian National Theatre Melbourne (1995 – 2005), producer, broadcaster, self tech operator at the National SBS Croatian Radio Program in Melbourne.
