Jestem artystą wizualnym i multidyscyplinarnym, którego twórczość obejmuje szeroki zakres technik malarskich, w tym malarstwo olejne, akrylowe, oraz media mieszane oraz malarstwo na bazie farb olejnych wodorozcieńczalnych. Moje prace wyróżniają się innowacyjnym podejściem do formy i treści, łącząc różne style i techniki, aby stworzyć unikalne, wielowarstwowe kompozycje.
W technikach i motywach przewodnich jest nawiązanie do surrealizmu, czasu i przestrzeni. Mój cykl m.in „Vibracje czasu” to doskonały przykład tego podejścia, w którym abstrakcja przenika się z symboliką, tworząc obrazy będące niemal oknami do innych wymiarów. W tej serii prac wykorzystuję autorskie fotografie, które stają się punktem wyjścia dla dalszej kreacji. Zdjęcia, często inspirowane naturą i codziennością, zostają przekształcone za pomocą zaawansowanych narzędzi graficznych i tabletu, co pozwala na odkrywanie nowych warstw znaczeniowych i estetycznych. Często są "szkicem cyfrowym" do malarstwa olejnego.
Technologia cyfrowa umożliwia precyzyjną kontrolę nad kolorem, światłem i teksturą, dzięki czemu mogę eksperymentować z formą i przestrzenią w sposób, który byłby trudny do osiągnięcia w tradycyjnym malarstwie. Fotografia w mojej twórczości jest szczególnie istotna. To działania, w których cyfrowa modyfikacja zdjęć podkreśla emocje, takie jak wykorzystanie fotografii w sztuce cyfrowej m.in prace z cyklu „Poranny spacer z duchami”, czy jako szkice do obrazów olejnych lub stricto malarstwa cyfrowego. W mojej fotografii elementy surrealistyczne wyrażają empatię i lęk związany z klimatem. Używam też fotografii jako fundamentu dla surrealistycznych wizji, co czyni prace wyjątkowymi, łącząc fotografię z cyfrowym malarstwem. W Fotografii natury, pejzaży, drzew i wody szukam piękna i odzwierciedlenia majestatu świata przyrody. Ten rodzaj fotografii skupia się na uchwyceniu krajobrazów, elementów natury, takich jak drzewa, woda, góry, lasy czy łąki, a także subtelnych detali przyrody, jak liście, gałęzie czy krople rosy.

Biografie
Dariusz Witold Mierzwa is een hedendaagse kunstenaar geboren in 1959 in Chorzów, Polen. Zijn artistieke reis is veelzijdig geweest, beginnend met zijn afstuderen aan de kunstacademie. Aanvankelijk gericht op beeldhouwkunst en scenografie, creëerde Mierzwa muzikale optredens en concerten terwijl hij werkte aan verschillende televisie- en filmproducties voor de Poolse televisie. Zijn fascinatie voor computertechnologie leidde hem er uiteindelijk toe om nieuwe gebieden van artistieke expressie te verkennen.
Mierzwa werkt voornamelijk met digitale beeldtechnologie, computeranimaties en digitaal design. Hij combineert vakkundig traditionele schilder- en tekentechnieken met digitale beelden, experimenteert en zoekt naar nieuwe mogelijkheden binnen de kunstwereld. Zijn schilderijen verdiepen zich in de metafysische aspecten van de materiële wereld, verkennen thema's die het alledaagse overstijgen en nodigen kijkers uit om na te denken over het bestaan en het universum.
Gedurende zijn carrière heeft Mierzwa zijn werk gepresenteerd op talloze tentoonstellingen en veilingen over de hele wereld, waaronder opmerkelijke evenementen in Milaan, Berlijn, Venetië, de VS, Frankrijk, Italië, Duitsland en de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten. Zijn kunst probeert consequent diepere waarheden over de menselijke ervaring te onthullen, waarbij hij vaak surrealistische visioenen verweeft met filosofische inzichten.
Ter erkenning van zijn unieke visie die traditie met moderniteit combineert, ontving Mierzwa internationale erkenning van Hervé Lancelin, de artistiek directeur van de Pinakothek in Luxemburg. Hij ontving de Luxembourg Art Prize in zowel 2022 als 2023.
Een belangrijk aspect van Mierzwa's kunst is de fusie van traditionele schildertechnieken met moderne digitale technologieën. Zijn gebruik van foto's en fotografische schetsen dient als basis voor zijn werken, en voegt diepte en een hedendaagse vorm toe aan zijn artistieke praktijk. Chciałbym serdecznie podziękować za wybór mojego obrazu "Apollo Struck by Eros" do tak wyjątkowej kolekcji, jaką jest 100 Lat Marzeń z Kolekcją Malarstwa Surrealistycznego, pod kuratelą Pani Neveny Bojinović. Jestem zaszczycony, że mogę być częścią tego upamiętnienia 100. rocznicy surrealizmu, który od lat inspiruje moją twórczość. Państwa wsparcie i uznanie są dla mnie niezwykle cenne.
W procesie twórczym obrazu "Apollo Struck by Eros" prezentuję zderzenie klasycznej opowieści mitologicznej z surrealistycznym podejściem do narracji wizualnej. Przedstawiam postać, gdzie wyważone proporcje i dynamika linii jest ekspresyjna. W tej krótkiej prezentacji przekształcam początkowy szkic, wprowadzam zrównoważone brązy, które odzwierciedlają emocje i napięcia między bogiem Apollem a Erosem. Warstwa po warstwie, technika olejna stopniowo nadaje postaci głębię i teksturę.
Kluczowym elementem tego procesu jest transformacja górnych partii ciała, połączona z abstrakcyjnymi elementami, symbolizującymi siłę miłości, jej skrzydła i uścisk, które jednocześnie uwodzą i niszczą. To metaforyczne połączenie między światłem a cieniem, między marzeniem a rzeczywistością.

Mystère de la vie, de l’enfance, où l’espace-temps s’entremêle dévoilant une énigme non résolue, une porte ouverte sur des réflexions philosophiques voir mystiques sur l’état des choses, de la vie. Interrogation, mais aussi participation au rôle sociétal de l’artiste qui exprime et constate depuis les peintures des grottes préhistoriques. L’art, l’artiste, l’humain a-t-il progressé : oui et non, prisonnier de la condition humaine. Œuvre conséquente et lourde de réflexions. Œuvre d’une grande force de frappe de par sa «simplicité».
Je vous remercie beaucoup pour cette réflexion profonde sur mon œuvre. Je suis d'accord que l'art, depuis des siècles, porte en lui à la fois des questions et des réponses, tout en restant un mystère.
