A painting of the Madonna and Child that is based on the Renaissance painting made by Paolo Moranda Cavazzola from the 16th century school of Verona, Italy... This is a classical painting that is made using time consuming old world methods. Firstly, the composition is carefully formed and then transferred using a grid pattern on to a stretched canvas. The canvas has been treated with several layers of acrylic paint and sanded, in order to form a smooth and rigid surface to work on. The painting coloration is developed by using multiple layers of translucent complementing colors. With each layer of work small aesthetic changes are made. These small changes help to ultimately beautify the final image...
