Momotombo’s Volcano in Nicaragua and its capacity for destruction was the reason for Acahualinca's catastrophe. Alongside fragments of pottery, a series of great pits reveals animal and human footprints from prehistoric nomads – preserved in volcanic ash, the footprints have been dated to around 10000 years ago. This materic artwork depicts a real footprint, just like in Acahualinca and frangments on ancient pottery, dated 6000 years ago.

Her artwork deals about the unconscious of Mesoamerican people that survives at the ceramic pot, the broken ceramic bowl and the clay figurine buried under the structures of Western culture.
