ARTISTIC APPROACH

My artistic approach is driven by the desire to identify the curves of nature as the female body or natural materials such as vines in positions where aesthetics and smoothness lead to emotions.

For this starting point , it can be a drawing or a picture sometimes typify an event I attended , that moved me and that I want to retranslate by finding the emotions time .

My creative journey led me to start the work, sometimes without any model , letting my hands shape the earth. I am guided in this research by emotional thoughts of other works , photographs , advertising perfume or ready to wear. They feed my imagination and help it to define the final shape of the sculpture.

Very attracted to curves, my hands glide over the ground to form bodies taking pleasure in this kneading and shaping the particularly soft and firm clay at this early stage of the development of the work.
I love that once the finished sculpture , people take pleasure in the caress .

For works with model, I have generally an idea in mind and explains to model the context of the work so that it snaps into position and his body better reflects the expected emotional state.

I also let me propose the model of attitudes that are not too academic . During the rest period of the model, I also find flashes of a just and moving posture that can be modeled .

In works with vines , the vine is the emotional engine of the attitude of the model leading to the vine and sculpture composition in a story. This part of the genesis of the work and includes historical, poetical or imaginary .
