Iryna Chevela is a self-taught Ukrainian artist. At the age of 29,she changed her country of residence and currently lives and works in France. She never attended an art  school but painting has always been her main passion. Dreaming to become a fashion designer she had to choose a more mundane profession of the financial world. But the vocation took its toll and one day she decided to drastically change her life and follow her dream.Art for her is more than work, it's her passion and life motivation.

Why did she choose abstraction? Because there are no rules and boundaries. Abstraction is plastic and limitless. Each person can have their own vision of the subject  and this is brilliant.

Iryna loves to experiment with her works. The composition of her works develops spontaneously in the process of joyful creativity. The impulse of our soul, our heart, sensual resources are the source of her inspiration, penetrating through her brushes, her fingers, mingling on the canvas, bearing the imprint of the foulings that she invites us to feel.

Her paintings are filled with depth and positive energy. They are dynamic and constantly change over time.
