Charlotte Mano est née en 1990 dans le sud-ouest de la France, elle vit et travaille actuellement à Paris. Après un double cursus de Lettres Modernes et de Communication culturelle, Charlotte intègre l’école des Gobelins en section Photographie où elle sort diplômée en 2017. Son travail photographique, s’il se déploie en apparence autour de plusieurs thématiques (le corps, l’espace, l’obscurité), ne cesse de questionner l’image : son pouvoir de représentation et de transparence, mais aussi ses propres limites. Elle remporte plusieurs prix et son travail est exposé dans de nombreux festivals et institutions de renom en France comme à l’international. Le Château d’Eau de Toulouse lui consacre son premier solo show en 2018. Toutes ses expériences lui ont permis de se placer comme une artiste de premier plan sur la jeune scène photographique française. En 2020, elle reçoit le prix HSBC pour la Photographie grâce à sa série "Thank you Mum". Elle partage aujourd’hui son temps entre recherches et enseignement. .
