Biography
Camille Rouschmeyer is an artist living in Haute-Savoie, near Lake Annecy. Her paintings and drawings, imbued with poetry, open a door to her imagination or represent her intuitive perception of the visible. A fervent walker as much on the paths of the outdoors as on those of reading, cinema and her memories, she draws her inspiration from everything that challenges her gaze or her memory during her walks. Thus, her work is characterized by a sensitivity exploring unexpected reminiscences, the density of materials, the expressions of faces and bodies, the movements, colors and shapes of nature. In 2021, her painting Autumn was exhibited in Barcelona and since then many of her works are in private collections in Europe and the United Kingdom. Camille Rouschmeyer is a member of ADAGP and La Maison des Artistes.
