Abstract imagery is how I physically and emotionally interpret the world I inhabit. Whether it be New York City construction sites, weather beaten poster remnants on billboards, or scenes experienced in foreign countries like Morocco, Mexico, Spain or Turkey. The light, colors, architecture, music and warmth of the people leave indelible impressions which ultimately permeate my paintings .My parents loved music, art, and spoke foreign languages to which I was introduced.
A degree from Music & Art High School led me to becoming a classical concert singer. In time I became involved in the arts as a photo researcher, studied photography and worked for publishers and the Chamber of Commerce. When digital became the norm, I studied abstract painting at the Art Students League and switched my camera and lenses to brushes and paint.
My artwork is in museums in Japan, Morocco, Canada, and in US corporate and private collections worldwide.
I've exhibited my paintings at the Dorian Grey Gallery, the Quick Art Center Museum at St. Bonaventure University, the Architectural Digest Design Show, Hudson River Museum, the Van Der Plas Gallery and now have a profile in Tipster House which will be followed by a featured article on that online site.
