Un peintre parmi les livres
Après ses études aux Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg, section peinture et illustration, Bruno Aimetti débute comme illustrateur puis comme graphiste publicitaire à Paris et en Normandie. Quinze ans plus tard, renouant avec ses origines italiennes, il quitte la grisaille pour la lumière du sud et se remet à peindre. Il ouvre un atelier à Gordes puis à Carpentras. Le succès est immédiat. Les expositions se suivent : Cologne, Paris, Chicago, Colorado Springs, Avignon...
Amnesty International a sélectionné pendant 2 années consécutives, 6 de ses œvres pour lʼédition dʼune pochette de cartes de vœux.
Il participe également activement à la création, la scénographie et lʼiconographie de spectacles avec le Théâtre du Balcon, Compagnie Serge Barbuscia en Avignon.
Au printemps 2012, il rend visite à un ami graveur récemment installé dans le Cabardès et tombe littéralement amoureux de Montolieu et ses environs.
Il décide alors de quitter la Provence et vient s'installer dans le centre du village du livre.
Bruno Aimetti a ouvert au public, son atelier galerie depuis Pâques 2013 dans l'ancienne pharmacie.
