Bosa Steinert

Bosa Steinert's artistic focus is painting with oil paints. She uses a variety of painting techniques. She sometimes combines her oil paintings with other materials. She paints representational pictures either realistically, with an abstract background, or with a transition to the abstract. She also paints abstract pictures with acrylic paints.

Bosa Steinert's range of motifs is diverse, but not arbitrary. It includes animals, landscapes, people, objects, plants, and abstract images.

Bosa Steinert is often inspired by personal experiences in her work. The pictures are then usually created from her head, without a template. With faces, the eyes are always directed at the viewer, no matter which side the picture is viewed from.

Bosa Steinert was born in what is now Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has lived in Germany for many years, first in Berlin, then in Kronberg, in Frankfurt and since 2018 on Lake Constance.

Bosa Steinert has held solo exhibitions in Frankfurt and on Lake Constance. She has also taken part in several group exhibitions, including in the famous Paulskirche in Frankfurt.
