Artist, Bohdan Jackiewicz was born in Poland, April 20 1948.
In 1968 finished High School for Talented Youngsters. He earned his diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw in 1977, where he majored in sculpture. Upon graduation he started working at the Academy of Fine Arts as a professor’s assistant. He held that position until 1989, and during that time he had a chance to be a part of many major artistic projects in Poland and other parts of Europe. For example;
From 1978 until 1980 he was responsible for restoration of historic monuments/sculptures in Marathal Palace in Potsdam Germany. For this assignment, he received special award from Ministry of Culture of Germany.
In 1982, he was responsible for renovation of historic sculptures in Bruhl-Palace also in Germany. After that, as a highly skilled artist, he went to Estonia where he was responsible for many sculpture projects in Downtown Tallinn.
By the year 1989, he started his own company which became one of the biggest in Poland, and specializes in sculpture renovation as well as making sculptures for private and public purposes. In 1997 he founded Summer Art Classes in Polish mountains. More than 600 hundred people took part in this non profit project.
His artwork can be found in many private collections around the world.
From 1977, he took part in more than 70 exhibitions in Poland and all over Europe.

1987- Abstract sculpture project for Szklarska Poreba city
1989 – Abstract sculpture for Sosnowka city
1990 – Abstract sculpture for Borowice city
1992 – Abstract sculptures for Monte Cassino Hotel
1993 – Abstract sculpture for Tatry Hotel
1993- Abstract sculpture for Casino Polonia in Wroclaw city
1997- Abstract sculpture for Jelenia Gora city
2004 – Monumental sculpture for Wroclaw city - (bronze)

Bohdan Jackiewicz is also a member of Polish association of artist and vice –president of Polish Sculptors Society.
