Flowers (2007) 绘画 由 Bobbie

For as long as I can remember I’ve been an artist. I still have pictures from kindergarten and grade school that I saved. When I was in high school my art teacher told me you are only an “artist” once you sell something but I don’t think that is the case. I think some people are born with a gift and some people are taught a technique. I’ve taken more years of art classes, through out school and high school and even on to a private art college but I couldn’t tell you names of techniques or tell you what I learned in the 3 years of art history I attended. But I do know I can look at something and draw it or see something and paint it. One of these days I may settle into one certain style but until then I will continue to paint what I want or what people ask me to. I may just take another art history class for fun to see if I can pay attention this time and stop daydreaming.
