This is a touching write-up from some who was presented with my work by his professional colleague - Breaking the vicious circle
Dear Bob,
As Eric just mentioned, I simply wanted to write to say how deeply personally meaningful your magnificent painting, "Breaking the Vicious Circle" is for me. I have spent most of my 50-year career working on ways to break the vicious circle/cycle of early childhood infections, especially intestinal infections from inadequate water and sanitation (ie downtrodden poverty) with malnutrition and healthy growth and cognitive development. Your autobiographical painting expresses exactly the focus of my entire career!
Your story even has personal family meaning, as my father was an architect, who tried to convince me to study architecture instead of medicine. He always said that an architect or artist can do more than doctors to help others by building or showing lasting outcomes. You are showing how true that can be! You and I have both followed our passions to show how they can both address the same shared goal, of breaking the vicious circle!
You have beautifully shown from Nigeria and medicine to Moscow and architecture to renowned artist in Almaty, that we must work to “Break the vicious circle and move towards the light!”
My wife was so impressed by your painting that she wanted it in the most prominent place in our home, over the mantle in the room in which we literally live and visit with family and friends, as shown in the attached photos.
Thank you so much for sharing your art and vision through Eric! This is the centerpiece of the crowning event of my lifetime! My best wishes for your continued success!
Dick
