Alexandre Barberà-Ivanoff is a contemporary artist with a rich cultural heritage, stemming from his Russian mother and Spanish father, who was a dancer at the Moulin Rouge. His artistic journey began in 1985 when he commenced his studies in painting under the tutelage of esteemed artists Christian Welter, Gérard Di-Maccio, and Jean Bertholle. Alexandre further honed his craft as a copyist at the Louvre Museum before serving as an Army Painter during his national service.

In 2001, Alexandre embarked on a prestigious project, painting frescoes in the palace of King Mohammed VI in Marrakech, Morocco. His talent and creativity continued to garner attention, leading to numerous exhibitions from 2005 to 2007 in Saint-Malo, France, including displays at the Hôtel d'Asfeld, Fort National, and local casinos.

A pivotal moment in Alexandre's career occurred on September 9, 2005, when he publicly unveiled his Manifesto on artistic essentialism, outlining his philosophical approach to art.

Over the years, Alexandre's artwork has been showcased in prominent venues such as the "Maison Consulaire" in Saint-Leu-la-Forêt in March 2008 and the European Parliament in Strasbourg in June 2010, solidifying his reputation as a distinguished artist on the international stage.

In the spring of 2015, Alexandre collaborated with four other European painters to create 25 monumental paintings displayed throughout the city center of Cosenza, Italy. These expansive works, measuring 2 by 3 meters, depict various periods of the city's rich history, showcasing Alexandre's versatility and mastery of the craft.

In addition to his artistic endeavors, Alexandre holds the esteemed title of official expert on the work of his grandfather, Serge Ivanoff, further cementing his role as a custodian of artistic legacy and innovation.
