Babita Maheswary is a self-taught Indian abstract artist. The only thing which can describe her is passion for colours , form and shapes. Her first experience as an artist was after 14 years of marriage. when a dramatic incident took place. She realised she has no path of her own, she started feeling uneasy as if she is missing something in her life and finally she strongly started finding goals which can give actual sense to her life. At this point she decided to convert her hobby into a profession . During this hard time George Eliot quote always inspired her "It's Never Too Late to Be What You Might Have Been ". She started working hard and finally it took more than 3 years of pain , to begin , to find her way as a self-taught artist. It was here that she further expanded her knowledge in the abstract field.
She said "My curious soul and beautiful nature is an inspiration to me, it starts from early morning yoga to late moon sight. Everything in this world is an inspiration you just need a vision to catch it. Every good deed done by my soul is an ultimate inspiration to my work".
Apart from colours like acrylic oil and water she also loves to work with mixed media and textures.
Babita Maheswary has exhibited consistently for the past 7 years both nationally and internationally and won several major art prizes including an emerging. artist award by Foxclues. Art journey interviews given nationally along with an international interview given to South Art Dealer New York.
