This is a watercolour painting, on Canson paper, depicting the wonderful Bugatti 35B being cornered hard, at La Sarthe corner, at the famous French motoring racing circuit at Le Mans. These iconic cars (now highly prized) were simple in design and construction but were and still are amazingly light and pliable and beloved by motor racing drivers and fans, alike. These little cars were actually made in France but the designer was an Italian, Ettore Bugatti. This car dates back to the late l930's early l940's. Note the huge wheels with their treaded tyres and also the external gear lever and hand-brake.

This painting is an original artwork, is signed and certified. The work has a cream mount and a white painted wood frame.

At just three years of age I started to draw and paint and I have not stopped. Born in Dublin, Irleland, after Art College, I taught art briefly in various schools. This was followed by a full-time career in Interior Architecture & Design, running my business and, a School of Design in tandem. Later on, I opened an Art School in Dublin. Both schools were for adults who needed professional recognised training, on an part-time/open learning basis. During this time, I also worked as the Interior Design Editor of a well known magazine as well as a prominent Irish Newspaper. In due course, after many holidays in France, plus the purchase of a very old property in Brittany, I and my husband decided to re-locate to that Department, where we now live and I have set up my "Atelier" there, which I open regularly to guests for "Open Days" and also run free, Master Class Art sessions.
