This boy is Mustafa Saddam Hussein from Iraq. Saddam Hussein's 14-year-old grandson was the last one to resist the American special forces with a gun in his hands during the storming of Sheikh Nawwaf Zeidan's mansion. When the Americans killed the boy, they could not believe that they had been confronted by one person for so long, and they were even more shocked that it was actually a child.

At the end of the article about Mustafa, New York Times journalist Robert Yeisk writes: "If we had someone like this boy, we would put a monument to him in every city. They would talk about his bravery everywhere and everywhere, and he would be a role model for the younger generation, there would be someone to look up to."

It's a beautiful story. The facts are as follows. In 2003, an operation to eliminate Saddam's accomplices took place in the same Mosul, which is still being stormed by the Americans, demolishing whole blocks of the city.

At the same time, for six hours, fighters threw grenades at the mansion, helicopters shot the building with rockets, and from military Hummer jeeps, soldiers fired at the defenders of Uday and Biting with machine guns. "We deployed Humvees with anti—tank missiles," says Sanchez. — And they fired 10 rockets at the house."
