Inspired by Phillip Pullman’s ‘His Dark Materials’, windows imagines the sharp slashes of the subtle knife. Could it be that we inhabit a multiverse, split with every moment of choice, that the infinity of our world is so much more vast that we could ever fathom?

All the paintings are created with premium quality materials.
The canvas is acid-free with titanium coating from Fine Art or Camlin.
Special Holbein paints from Tokyo, Japan are used for the more unique shades.
These are blended with Artist Acrylics from Winsor & Newton, Pebeo, Brustro, Royal & Langnickel and Camlin.
Each painting is coated with UV protection and Japanese Design Coat varnish to keep the painting clean and fresh.

"I dream my painting and I paint my dream."

- Vincent Van Gogh

Painting came to me in the third decade of my life, after a series of adventures with academia and study of religions, facilitation, education, jewellery making and the traditional music of Baul from Bengal, India.

Vibrant experiences and voracious reading had already offered a diverse set of perspectives to my life, and yet, all of that came crashing down in a sudden tryst with depression. My colourful life turned grey, and I turned to colours.

When words were stunted and dreams shattered, Painting opened new vistas, broken boundaries healed and I learned what it meant to place a part of me onto canvas with my fingers. That was about one year and three hundred paintings ago.

Life without paint is impossible for me now and I hope that the shards of my soul scattered around canvases can find good homes and good hearts.
