This painting is from my “Indian Village Women” series. We can see three musicians in meditative stance in an Indian village. I wanted to depict the calming effect Indian music has on the artists and the listeners. One of the techniques I used in this painting was the play of colors to depict tranquility and peace.

I am drawn to themes of simplicity, love, and hope. All my artworks are based on vivid memories and experiences that I have had at various junctures of my life. I enjoy working with acrylics and mixed media. My paintings can be found in many private collections in India and abroad.
