Je vis et travaille à Bordeaux, France. J'aime inventer de larges peintures à l'aquarelle et encre de Chine sur papier, des scènes urbaines, mais aussi des compositions abstraites pour le plaisir de la couleur et du trait: une phrase, une citation ou un texte qui m'a paru remarquable est le point de départ de ces peintures.
Mes travaux sont régulièrement exposés en France, également aux Etats-Unis, récemment à la
Stanford in Washington Art Gallery, in Washington, DC.
Un récent projet m'a amené à réaliser pour le compte d'une grande société ce qui devait être une commande de 15 tableaux et se termina quelques mois plus tard par une réalisation finale de 90 tableaux.

His abstract paintings are defined as the pure joy of colors on smooth watercolor paper, flowing freely, along with the sharpness and graceful elegance of pen drawing. The inspiration at the origin of the work might be a phrase in French or in English, giving it its title.
Arnaud Faugas exhibits regularly in his hometown, in Paris, and also in the USA - most recently at the Stanford in Washington Art Gallery, in Washington, DC. His most recent project was a series of 90 paintings of the most prestigious winemaking chateaux in the Bordeaux area, which is now housed at the headquarters of a well known Bordeaux wine merchant.
