Was born in Fontaniva in 1945, where he still lives. His work experience begins around the age of 12, when a ceramic workshop is opened near his home, in which young painters paint on ceramic plates views of tourist destinations, mainly Venice, the Venetian city most famous and visited. His parents do not hesitate to encourage him so that during the school holidays Antonio can have this pleasant and exciting experience, which brings out his natural pictorial vocation with a strong interest both in the research of communication and light and in the figurative and abstract. In the 1970s he took part in the Arte Fiera of Padua for the first time, exhibiting his paintings in the Il Tempo gallery in Conselve, where he met the art critic Paolo Rizzi. The latter introduced him to some Venetian and national gallery owners, including the painter and gallery owner Cesare Rotini, aka Metastasio, who would later develop good working relationships with him.Art critics have written about him: Enzo Santese, Paolo Levi, Giancarlo Bonomo, Giuseppe Salerno, Paolo Rizzi, Renzo Spagnoli, Piera Piazza and Cesare Pansini. Some of his works can be found in the Civic Gallery of Mayors of Trieste, the Civic Gallery of Modern Art "Giuseppe Sciortino" in Monreale, in the National Museum of Ukrainian Art in LVIV, in the museum "Nature, Life, Legend" in Bossolasco ( CN), in private collections and private galleries. In 1971 he moved to Neuchàtel in Switzerland for a year, the city where he set up an art studio called “La Soffitta” together with a group of European painters. Here he gets his first recognitions. In 1976 he successfully published his works in an art gallery, Il Fiore, for the first time, in Bassano del Grappa
