I am an artist with lifelong aspirations for creating and recreating things. I have done woodworking and was an amateur photographer. Upon retirement in 2021 I began painting. My journey as a self-taught artist has been very enjoyable, and is driven by my unwavering desire for continuous learning and personal growth. Since joining a local art league, I have had the invaluable opportunity to learn from and collaborate with fellow artists. My artwork is shown at local and online art festivals and galleries.

I have lived in Central America and traveled in the USA, Asia, and Africa. Inspiration from the diverse cultures encountered has significantly influenced my artistic vision to capture themes of serenity and solidarity. 

In my paintings I utilize walnut oil-based paint and walnut oil as a medium. This choice is rooted with historical traditional artists, since walnut oil is renowned for its exceptional resistance to yellowing and cracking over time.

My vision for art is capturing the beauty of life experiences, places, and people.
