About the Artist: I was born in Odessa, Ukraine in 1989. In 1997 with my parents I moved to Yerevan, Armenia where I got a Bachelor degree in Art and Design from Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts. After getting my degree in 2009, I moved to Los Angeles, California for permanent residence, where I continued my art education. Currently I hold an Associate degree in Studio Arts, Art History and BA in Art and Design. I'm an independent artist, professional printmaker and educator.
Although I'm a big fan of contemporary art, I consider myself as an abstract expressionist. I often combine several mediums, such as oil, acrylic, and watercolor. I paint portraits, landscapes, seascapes, villages and city views. I dig my inspiration in late works of German Expressionists Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Max Beckman, Egon Schiele.
I was introduced to the palette knife (which is my preferred painting style) by my husband, who is a ceramic artist and a member of the Society of the Young Artists of Armenia. He inspired me to create some of my best pieces.
As an emerging artist I have sold a number of paintings worldwide since 2014. I established my business "AnaKimArtGallery" in 2015 and process my sales trough PayPal, Ebay Store and work with galleries in New York and Hermitage Gallery in Michigan, US.

Sono nato a Odessa, in Ucraina, nel 1989. Nel 1997 con i miei genitori mi sono trasferito a Yerevan, in Armenia, dove ho conseguito una laurea in Arte e Design presso l'Accademia statale di belle arti di Yerevan. Dopo essermi laureata nel 2009, mi sono trasferita a Los Angeles, in California, per la residenza permanente, dove ho continuato la mia formazione artistica. Attualmente sono laureato in Studio Arts, Storia dell'Arte e BA in Art and Design. Sono un artista indipendente, incisore professionista ed educatore.
Sebbene sia un grande fan dell'arte contemporanea, mi considero un espressionista astratto. Spesso combino diversi mezzi, come olio, acrilico e acquerello. Dipingo ritratti, paesaggi, paesaggi marini, villaggi e vedute di città. Mi ispiro alle ultime opere degli espressionisti tedeschi Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Max Beckman, Egon Schiele.
Sono stato presentato alla spatola (che è il mio stile pittorico preferito) da mio marito, che è un artista di ceramica e un membro della Società dei giovani artisti dell'Armenia. Mi ha ispirato a creare alcuni dei miei pezzi migliori.
Come artista emergente ho venduto numerosi dipinti in tutto il mondo dal 2014. Ho fondato la mia attività "Artist Anastasiya Kimachenko" nel 2015 e lavoro con gallerie a New York e Hermitage Gallery nel Michigan, negli Stati Uniti.
