CHLORIS. From the INVINCIBLE collection.

With this series, I celebrate the invincible in every soul, the rebirth through passion and through following your own voice and dreams.
The first one in the collection is inspired by Chloris, or Flora, the goddess of spring and flowers.

From birth to death, from innocence to passion, flowers have numerous interpretations and implications in myths and legends of ancient Greece and all over the world for that matter. Flowers often symbolize youth, beauty, and pleasure but they may also personify fragility and transition of life.
Metamorphosis is a typical theme in Greek mythology, gods as well as mortals, had the power to transform themselves into animals, birds, or humans and repeatedly used this power to their own advantage.
In Greek mythology, the name Chloris means “greenish-yellow”, “pale green”, “pale”, “pallid”, or “fresh”, and she was a nymph or goddess, connected to spring, flowers, and new growth. When she spoke, flowers would come out of her mouth (see also the superb Botticelli’s Spring), and what she touched transformed into a new life through flowers.

I BELIEVE WITH ALL MY HEART IN THE POWER OF ART.

Art has the power to transform the world around us in a better place, it has the power to transport us through time, see through the eyes of those before us, and of those around us. It has the power to show us the meaning in apparently meaningless things. Art brings up the best in us and surrounding yourself with art unleashes our true potential, our passions, dreams, allowing us to express ourselves freely and with a strong, grounded, and loving voice. I hope my art inspires you to find your own voice, to pursue your dreams and passions and connect deeply with yourself.
