Chih-Mei Chiu

Chih-Mei Chiu, My name, I actually just likes beautiful Characters, things, scenery. I found that the best way is to record them with a brush. Sometimes facing the fleeting beauty, I also uses the camera to achieve my goal.

As an artist, I'm highly malleable because I does not set limits on myself. I  draw figurative figures or draw abstracts, sometimes winding a cactus with lines, sometimes paint frogs with oil paint, sometimes paint nude girls with pastels. Or use a colored pencil to carefully scribe the child's shoes. I joined the Allied Artists of America (AAA) ; American Artists Professional League(AAPL) ; Audubon Artists, Inc. in 2018 and officially became an international painter. Participated in these exhibitions：2018 Honolulu Festival at the Hawaii International Convention Center; 2018 Great San Francisco Bay Area Asian Art Festival at the Oulanda Library; 2018 Los Angeles Asian Art Festival at the Los Angeles Overseas Chinese Culture and Education Service Center; 45th Autumn Climbing Show in Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and 90th Grand National exhibition American Artists Professional League at Salmagundi Club.

 Good news ,I have been selected as a personage: Chinese contemporary artists, Chongqing and Taiwan. Become a member of Pastel Society of America (PSA) in 2019.

In Taiwan, I also participated in many art exhibitions as Taiwan-Japan Painting Exchange Exhibition-Heart Bridge, as Taipei Yishu Exhibition and many member exhibitions, I'm Member of the Lake Light Painting Association;Member of the Chinese Calligraphy Society;Member of the Republic of China Engraving Society;Member of the Pastel Association of Taiwan;Member of the China Century Painting and Calligraphy Association.

          I believe do something you likes, will have more happyness in the future.
