Alexandre Plattet

Alexandre Plattet was born in Fribourg, Switzerland, on 5 June 1972 and lives on the perimeters of this city, in Villars-sur-Glâne.

During his artistic photographic career over the last twenty years, he has participated in solo and group exhibitions in various art venues such as Montreux, New York and Paris and soon in Basel.

Some of his photographs have been published in various international art collections.

Nature photography is always a moment of contemplation for him. In his abstract photographic research, water is often used as a creative medium, to create an aesthetic different from what we usually see in reality.

Each photo Alexandre takes of nature is a moment of wonder, an encounter between Man and his Creator.

His images are at the border between painting and photography, and this is perhaps why they stand out.
