Logic will lead you from point "A" to point "B". Imagination – anywhere.
"The Fables" invites viewers into a world of enchantment and curiosity, inspired by the fantastical realm of "Alice in Wonderland." At the center of the canvas stands a peculiar girl with elfin ears and a mischievous twinkle in her eye. Her pointed nose adds to her whimsical charm, hinting at her playful nature and adventurous spirit.
Surrounding her are a collection of peculiar and elongated creatures, resembling whimsical specters from a dream. These ethereal beings, akin to playful ghosts, dance around her in a surreal ballet of fantasy and imagination. Each figure is imbued with its own unique personality, adding depth to the narrative of the painting.
In this piece, the artist explores themes of fantasy, symbolism, and surrealism, weaving together elements of whimsy and mystery to create a captivating tableau. I am a Ukrainian artist, but I have lived half of my life in Europe.
I paint because for me it's a kind of meditation in which I lose track of time, designing and creating a whole new world that no one has ever seen before.
Portrait is the most congenial form of art to me. It is incredibly interesting to observe people and visualize their actions and behavior, transforming them into images that can be depicted on canvas.
Portraits of women are my special love. Women are ambiguous, mysterious, magic lurks in them. It's a bottomless world, like the rabbit hole Alice fell into. My paintings are not about female beauty, they are about her inner world, which is inhabited not only by angels but also by demons
Sometimes I paint landscapes and flowers It turns out easily. Probably, painting them, I just relax :-)
