Nudibranches are incredibly beautiful creatures! Taking nudibranch photos have become a standalone genre in underwater photography. In average they are just a couple of cm long so it demands patience and luck to find it on a colorful reef. The photo is taken inside a lagoon and the depth was less than 1 meter. Because of their size even a light wave makes them tremble. The position it took on the picture reminded me of how motorcycle racers make their way into a turn, tilting the body and bike.

I'm an Underwater, Urban and Landscape photographer.

The most of my pictures taken underwater are the "greenest" one as I make them apnea

I'm a finalist of the largest world contests: 35awards.com  - annual international photography award for 8 consecutive years since 2017.

2022 and 2025 finalist of the prestigious wildlife contest Golden Turtle.

Photography has always been something special for me, a "kind of magic" the Queen sang about.

And it started almost 40 years ago when my father took me to the dark room where he developed photos under the red light.

Digital photography has changed the game but still any camera has just "one eye and no brain"

Hundreds of millions of people has got cameras way more capable than our fathers had but still very few can make a Picture that will make you stop for some seconds... and then may be for a minute or two.
And even fewer Pictures deserve to be printed to be seen everyday. A thus they become a part of you life making you dream, making you smile, giving some positive energy and make you a bit happier.

Having a 20+ years photography experience I always chose practical lessons over theory.

And at the same time I was lucky to meet outstanding Masters who's impact was Huge and they always came at the Right Time and Right Place: Maldives 2004, New York 2017, Moscow 2015…

I put myself on a test back in 2017 taking part in 35Awards annual photography award with my photos reaching the final round.

Since then I became a finalist of the world largest contests. But every time a press the shutter my primary goal remains the same. I take a Picture to bring the magic I see to those who will stop and look at it for several seconds, sometimes for a couple of minutes and may be would like to have it printed and decorate their life with a moment of our Wonderful World.
