Biography
Alex Buzunov is a multidisciplinary artist, painter, photographer, printmaker, and digital artist.
He has been doing figurative and portraits speed-drawing for years now.
He thinks that his work is a typical example of an outsider rookie artist trying to juggle 9-to-5 job and artistic hobbies like drawing, painting, printing, and sculpture.
Fundamentals are very important in his artistic process. Critics are relentless but if you try to look past “doodling” you may experience energy, emotion, vulnerability, and beauty in his work
Alex Buzunov is working and living in Jersey City. His work is present in many private collections.

Love it, congrats ! Slava Ukrainie !
A moving piece, particularly as it pertains to the Ukraine's current situation. I love Russian history and culture. I don't have a favorite in this conflict except that the authoritarians in Russia are the clear aggressors. The people of the Ukraine have a natural right to rule themselves, as natural as that of the Russians. I can't imagine the Russian people, who have just engaged in a struggle to free themselves from authoritarian communist rule, really want to become the oppressors of the Ukrainians, in order to further secure the power of authoritarian oligarchs and bureaucrats to suppress freedom in Russia.
Buzunov has encapsulated the lessons of history in a single image. Freedom is only the right and destiny of those who are willing to fight to be free.
"Everywhere men are born free, yet" (almost) "everywhere, they are in chains." That must change if we are to be able to deal with the future.
