Santa Claus (2019) Sculpture par Aileen Edwin

Santa Claus is 32cm tall. He is entirely needle felted from wool, no filler or armature was used. I have made a polymer clay stand for him which sparkles like ice. The underside has a soft fabric so that the artwork can be placed on furniture without scratching it (the base is not fully flat). Santa's eyes are glass and for them he needs his custom spectacles. Please do not try to remove them. For walking through the snow Santa has his trusty polymer clay staff with bell. It rings with each step. Not forgetting Santa's sack filled with gifts for the children. Santa and his sack are glued to the stand and Santa's staff is glued to his mitten.
Santa will be happy if someone offers him a home. But do not be surprised if you find him absent on one particular night of the year.
