Aidan Flanagan

I am largely a self-taught painter/printmaker. I learned how to screenprint in late 1990s, and added further printmaking skills/techniques through workshops at Graphic Studio Dublin in 2012 (Carborundum, Photopolymer Intaglio and Monotype).
My subject matter is mainly landscape based - real and imagined.
I have exhibited my prints at RHA, RUA, International Print Center New York, Centre for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk, Connecticut, Eigse at Carlow Visual, Limerick Printmakers, Miniprint de Cadaques, Spain.

I have been awarded a Residency at the Cill Rialaig Artists Retreat during 2014 and again in 2016.

Selected as one of six Winners of 34th Miniprint de Cadaques, Spain - 2014.
