Dans "Connecté à la vie", je parle de la puissance du lien qui relie le cœur à l'esprit provoquant le rayonnement du personnage à la manière évocatrice des madones. Les roses font le liens de cette connexion rappelant sa fragilité et son côté éphémère.

Vebenee: artist's name, contraction of first name, last name and last namewife of Véronique Enée, born in 1972 in Auchel. After spending20 years in the south of France where Véronique participated in severalcollective events (Painters' Day in Uzès, the Route desartists in Saint Rémy de Provence, exhibition in Cassis and Le Castellet) andsolo exhibitions (O.T in Nîmes and Béziers, etc.)  she has been working since 2023 in her studio in Vicq-sur-Nahon and has participated in various trade fairs (Montrésor, Montrichard: creativity prize)

Following a Bachelor's degree in Literature with an option in Fine Arts, Véronique began studying Art History before branching off into a fashion design school, which explains one of her favorite themes: Woman. At the same time, she trained in observational drawing and composition by attending evening classes at the Beaux-Arts, thus arming herself with a solid foundation for her career, which she would continue as a self-taught artist.

It was while sharing a workshop with a painting restorer in the south of France in 2010 that she discovered ancient techniques. During her research, she became interested in encaustic painting. The possibilities offered by this medium complement his practice of natural paintings.

His artistic influences are numerous, we will remember the artists with strong contrasts (Caravaggio), the poster artists (Alfons Mucha and Toulouse Lautrec) for their mastery of drawing, Jean-Jacques Lequeu for his singular and free work, the surrealists, the Street Artists and finally the printing techniques (silkscreen printing, lino-engraving). Véronique practices a figurative art that gives pride of place to female portraits from her entourage, and claims to be Slow-Art.

His sources of inspiration are diverse, ancient objects carrying history, books, images, some stylists and the popular art of Mexico for its symbols (Calaveras and Catrina). From one of her trips, she brought back an uninhibited representation of vanities, her other favourite theme.
