I wrote this piece inspired by the incredible interview "Everything is Light" with Nikola Tesla.

Just ponder his words: perhaps the Universe at certain times gets tired of itself and of us. The disappearance of a star or the appearance of a comet affects us more strongly than we can imagine. The relationships between earthly beings are even stronger. Because of our feelings and thoughts, a flower will either smell even more beautifully or fall into silence.

Sometimes it seems to me that in the constant battle for resources, people forget about what is truly important and valuable. And I am very afraid that at some point the universe will tire of us for a second and something irreversible will happen...

Therefore, in my work, I want to show the beauty of the flower as I see it, and the more people see and feel this, the more chances that not everything is lost for us. And we still need the Universe to see and feel this beauty through our eyes.

The painting was presented at the exhibition "Wow" at the "HERE" gallery in Taganka, Moscow from June 11, 2022 to August 21, 2022.
