Le chat est papier encollé sur une structure métallique, après séchage et durcissement une patine est réalisée dans les tons de vert de gris bronze afin de lui donner son aspect métallique.
Au départ, le chat de Giacometti a été l'inspiration de ces nouveaux chats dans différentes postures.

Vanessa Renoux works on sculpture with recycled, upcycled materials, mainly recycled newspaper. The creation of patinas with colored reflections results in trompe-l’oeil sculptures, “paper-bronze”.
