I was born in 1957 in south Bretagne, France. Completely self-taught, I discovered the pleasure of drawing,
painting, writing poetry and making music very early on. After searching for a number of years, the visual
media became the obvious choice for me and at 25 years, a sensual way to express deep sentiments
and perhaps to put a little light in the shadows of life…

I have lived many places in France, on the seashore in Bretagne, the forest in Normandy, in the mountains
in the French Alps, working here and there. Currently I live and work in Paris where I have had quite a number
of exhibitions (both solo exhibitions and in group settings) selling very well both in France
and to foreign collectors.

During the past 20 years most of my work has been in oil. During the first seven years I was influenced
by the work of Salvador Dali and worked mainly in Surrealism. Then for two years I experimented with abstract
art, exploring multiple styles and using different medias. For a decade I worked in the neo-classical style,

Like caresses sliding on paper the sweet sound of my color pencil… Sensuality is very essential to my work.
Since my teenage years, I’ve never stopped drawing what I love most: big, strong, full bodies,
hairy with rough or smiling bearded faces. Sometimes with wild guys who loves this kind of man.
This is my way of thanking Mother Nature for all the grace and pleasure she brings us with bears.

I really didn’t know then, that one day I would show these pictures and that many people would really
enjoy them. A lifetime of work finally bears fruit! In the last six years I have begun exhibiting my bear art
regularly in France and Europe and I have got it edited in gay book and magazine.

My work was received warmly everywhere with much success. Many people enjoy the realism
of my ...
