Frédéric Thérisod is a versatile artist born in 1965, mastering the fields of painting, drawing, sculpture and photography. His artistic career began after training at the École Supérieure d'Arts Appliqués Duppérré in Paris, where he acquired the skills to explore different forms of artistic expression.
Over the years, Frédéric has participated in many significant exhibitions which have helped to publicize his work. Among his main exhibitions are those at the Espace Jacques Prévert in Aulnay-sous-Bois, at the Espace Confluences in Paris, at the Chapelle Salpêtrière in Paris, at the L gallery, as well as at the Helsin Gallery in Stockholm.
He was also selected for the International Congress of Contemporary Art in Villers-sur-Mer in 1998 and participated in the Salon de la Jeune Création in Paris in 1999 and 2000. During this period, he also undertook trips to Japan and in India, which enriched his artistic work.
In 2003, Frédéric had the opportunity to personally exhibit his works at the Aragon Triolet Cultural Center in the city of Orly. His artistic talents are not limited to a single medium, as he has also worked on photography and video exhibitions in collaboration with the butoh dance company, NUBA.
The year 2008 marked a turning point in his artistic career with the publication of his first book, "Valise d'Isidore", which brings together line drawings accompanied by poetic texts. He is also preparing a second work entitled "Baïkus", which combines texts (in color) and line drawings.
In recent years, Frédéric has continued his artistic exploration with a series of creations entitled "Damiers", which includes mixed media collages, drawings and paintings on flexible supports of different sizes. He also worked on a series of erotic drawings entitled "Early Spring" and "Couples en Lacets".
More recently, Frédéric has devoted himself to the creation of posters for artistic performances, which he has transformed into autonomous works of art, as well as the realization of giant formats in the middle of nature, exploring the seasons in a series entitled "Indolentes" (summer), "Les Eaux Tonalles" (autumn), "L'Assorti de l'Aigre Hiver" and "Early Spring".
In 2020, he embarked on a series of paintings on tree bark bas-reliefs and siporex stelae, thus continuing to push the limits of his creativity.
