Née en 1941 au pays de la Rose en Bulgarie, Théophanie MANOILOV est attirée par la Peinture dés son plus jeune âge. Peintre autodidacte, elle obtient pourtant le premier prix de dessin de la ville de Paris en tant que représentante de l’école du 2ème arrondissement en 1952. Depuis, elle parfait sans relâche sa maitrise de l’aquarelle et de l’acrylique par différents stages notamment à Gattières où elle expose en 2010.
Puis c’est à Vence, en 2011, à l’Hotel Diana qu’elle expose à nouveau.
Juin 2015, elle expose encore à la galerie du 10, Grand'rue, à Tourettes-sur-Loup.

Quelques unes de ses oeuvres sont visible en exposition permanente dans les salons de "Bleu Azur", prestigieuse maison d'hôtes de son village d'adoption.

Toujours curieuse et passionnée d'art elle pratique également la sculpture terre cuite. Elle s’essaye aussi avec succès aux collages qui expriment avec émotion sa vision d’un monde bousculé sur lequel elle pose un regard plein de tendresse mais sans concession...
