My name is Svetlana Dorokhina - I am an artist and psychologist. I live and work in Russia (Moscow region).
I started my career as an artist more than 2 years ago, in August 2020, at the height of the Pandemic, with right-hemisphere drawing for children and adults.
This was my salvation and a corner of peace during this difficult time, just at the same time I was experiencing the death of my father.
Since I most enjoyed admiring and buying oil paintings throughout my life, I decided I chose this direction of painting, which I did not regret. Now I create mainly in the genre of landscape and interior oil painting.
Since 2020, I have been constantly learning and improving myself in my craft, I have completed training with the best online teachers, face-to-face lessons with the famous artist Igor Medvedev, and advanced training courses and visiting galleries in different parts of Russia and other countries.
Although not much time has passed since the beginning of my activity, many works have been sold, including commissioned ones. I thank every person who bought my creations from me. The paintings are in private collections in different cities of Russia, the USA, and India.
