Stéphane Tanascaux is a visual artist who thrives in the duality between his role as biologist and visual creator. His deep desire is to reestablish the links between Man and Nature. Through various means of mediation and scientific fields, it highlights fascinating ecosystems, today seriously affected by human activities and climate change. Born in 1984, he lives and works in Paris.
In 2022, he gave birth to an artistic trend that he called “vibrationism”, following in the footsteps of the impressionist and post-impressionist movements. Vibrationism represents a pictorial philosophy where living beings are perceived as vibrating energy. This approach is based on the accumulation of successive layers of acrylic paint which are then sanded, allowing undefined abstract shapes to emerge which reflect the vibratory state of the material.
Beyond his artistic creation, Stéphane Tanascaux works to bring together science and art, offering a unique look at the complex relationship between man and his environment. His artistic approach explores the interaction between science and aesthetics, offering a new perspective on contemporary environmental issues.
