Pour une exposition, j'ai voulu que tous mes tableaux aient une unité de thème, sinon dans le traitement de ce thème (abstrait ou figuratif). Visuellement, le résultat était vraiment harmonieux.
Ce tableau figure dans la section " abstrait ", bien qu'il ait été inspiré par une réelle masse de coquelicots qui avaient poussé entre le trottoir et le mur d'une maison, sur le chemin de la boulangerie de mon village. Je les avais pris en photo par le dessus et j'ai fait en sorte que le résultat final soit très décoratif, à la limite de l'abstraction.
