This is an original pastel painting of a sally lightfoot crab (red rock crab) in a range of the highest quality soft pastels on clairefontaine pastelmat surface. This pastel painting is full of absolutely vibrant colours and lightens up the room for any marine life lover!

Related themes
I focus my artworks on wildlife and realism (although I dabble in portraits and seascapes on occasions too!) I mostly work in soft pastel on pastelmat. Recently I have begun to delve into the fascinating world of acrylics, creating several paintings on both canvas and wooden panels.
Where possible, I like to donate a portion of the sales of my work to relevant wildlife charities and organisations, so that my work can contribute to saving our planets wonderful animals.
In 2020 I started to enter exhibitions and art competitions with 2021 being a very successful year, achieving several awards and being exhibited in many physical and online exhibitions.
Other than my original artworks, I also offer commissions such as pet portraits, human portraits, seascapes & landscapes, with a large portfolio of commissions available to show on request.
