The vibrant painting of irises evokes a sense of natural beauty and artistic expression. The dynamic contrast between the purple and white petals against the soft blurred background creates a captivating visual. The visible brush strokes add texture and depth, capturing the essence of these delicate flowers. Overall it's a delightful portrayal of irises in an impressionistic style.

Simon Levin, born in 1948 in Staryya Darohi, Belarus, is a digital artist and photographer currently living and working in Israel. Certified as a digital artist, Top Contemporary Artist of Today (The GOLD LIST), Simon explores the art of self-portraiture as a profound means of reflection on time, identity and personal evolution. For him, the self-portrait is a mirror where the contours are distorted by time, and each image becomes a moment captured in a palette of emotions and questions.
In his works, Simon describes his eyes as oceans reflecting a world of doubts and hopes, while his smile acts as a bridge between his inner world and the outside, hiding secrets while revealing his emotions. His hands, symbols of creation and destruction, leave an imprint on the sands of time, shaping his destiny. His face, meanwhile, is a map that traces his victories, his defeats, his moments of joy and sadness.
For Simon, self-portraiture is an art that transforms its creator. Each work is a quest to find harmony, where each touch of color, each line, is a new step in an endless artistic process. His work remains in perpetual evolution, a reflection of his life and his emotions.
Self-portraiture is an eternal process and he is an artist who will never finish his painting.
