Pourquoi je suis arrivé à la sculpture ??? Toute une histoire...

Depuis mon enfance, j'ai toujours été attiré par tout ce qui était manuel. La création, la passion,la patience, le défi m'ont toujours apporté une satisfaction personnelle. Petit à petit, l'habileté et la dexterité de mes dix doigts m'ont fait défaut.

A ce jour, le handicap a évolué et ne me permet plus de faire ce que je faisais. Pendant longtemps j'ai cherché une autre façon de vivre ma passion avec ces mains désormais affaiblies. Il y a environ 8 ans, j'ai découvert la sculpture sur argile et depuis que je suis à muret, 3 ans, je sculpte de façon intensive dans un atelier très convivial.

On peut dire que c'est grâce à mon handicap que je suis tombé dans le tourbillon de cette immense passion. Sans cette maladie, jamais je me serais remis en question et jamais j'aurais tenté de me reconvertir. Je m'évade via la sculpture et même si le handicap est bien présent, je l'oublie parfois. Confronté aux mouvements que je ne peux pas faire,à mes gestes saccadés, à mes doigts qui ne répondent pas, je m'évertue à m'adapter pour maintenir la cohésion de l'oeuvre.

J'ai toujours eu la ferme conviction que l'on ne pouvait pas vivre sans passion. Si je travaille d'arrache pied et que je m'investis pleinement dans cette aventure, c'est que je sais que la maladie évolue et je veux profiter à 100% de mes aptitudes manuelles. Alors vives la sculpture!!!
